Our seasoned artist/guides customize each and every adventure in order to lead travelers on a unique artistic experience while they explore the world through new eyes, creating works of art, studying local culture and diving into artistic practice. Each journey is limited to a small group in order to provide individual guidance and instruction. This is an art and culture focused trip unlike any offered by the big tour groups. Each day there will be artistic challenges and assignments while we tour historic and culturally significant areas, paint in plein air, and truly "see" as an artist sees.
Each day there will be an art class and each night a time of sharing and discussing our work, observations, and the culture.
All ages and abilities are welcome.

TODD POTEET
With more than 34 years teaching experience in high schools, colleges, and art centers in two countries, Todd finds joy in introducing others to art of seeing, especially when traveling abroad. He holds a masters degree in education, a BFA from Pratt Institute and has worked as a professional artist his entire adult life. Since 1999, Todd has traveled with students and artists to countries around the world including: Mexico, Spain, Italy, Canada, Austria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Holland, France, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, Thailand, and more.

Alexandra Baer
Alex has been teaching and working with artists, students, and travelers for more than 3 decades as a teacher, tour guide, and art center director. She speaks multiple languages and is well versed in the cultures and art of the world. She is a sculptor, painter, and collage artist with work on two continents. She has a degrees in both art history and in the visual arts. Her family home, Hacienda Santa Maria Xalstoc, built in the 1500’s, often serves as a home base of activities for our journeys in Mexico.
